Abstract
Culture, as a broad and complex concept, is a part of society, and as institutionalized beliefs, it has a significant impact on people's lives and is effective in the literary works of poets and writers. Travelogues are among these literary works that well express the cultural and social issues of the land they have traveled to; Because the travel writer, who is a traveler on his journey, gets correct information about the target land by seeing and hearing these issues and by writing them, he tries to inform others about this information. This research deals with the comparative study of cultural-social issues in two travelogues "Isfahan nesfe jahan" written by Sadegh Hedayat and "Mufakihe Al-Khallan fi rahlat el-yaban" written by Yusuf Al-Qaid with a descriptive-analytical approach. Based on the results of this research, both authors have specifically addressed this issue, but in some components, one is superior to the other; Just as Yusuf al-Qaid excels in the components of women's status, customs and educational structure, and literacy status, and Sadiq Hedayat excels in popular beliefs and both of them shine well in religious, moral, and industrial components.
