abstract
One of the most important new literary genres is the "digital realist novel" that uses digital data, information and technological techniques to build a narrative body and content. This new literary genre deals with the transformations that accompany a person to pass from the real world to the virtual world in the light of virtual digital reality and contemporary human issues. Mohammad Sanajla in Arabic literature and Leila Sadeghi in Persian literature have considered this new type of narrative and have created works in this field. The purpose of this research is to analyze the motivations of the mentioned authors in dealing with this new literary genre and to find commonalities and differences in their works. The most important results of this research, based on the descriptive-analytical method and based on the comparative approach to compare the novels "Shat" and "Frost" by Sanajleh and "If that is Leila, then who am I?" and "Make time for me to pass" says Sadeghi, it indicates that the mentioned novels in terms of appearance (cover, title and communication links) and content (use of audio and visual facilities) as well as the transfer of man from the real world to virtual worlds are similar to each other; But the way these elements are used differs from each other. For example, Sanajleh used three types of images, i.e. moving image with sound, still image with sound, and still image without sound, while Leila Sadeghi only used the third type, i.e. still image without sound.
