The victory of the Abbasid Revolution was often seen as a victory for the Iranians over the Arabs, and with the arrival of the Iranian Barmakids, secretaries, and ministers to the Abbasid court, the contribution of Iranians to Arabic literature and Islamic civilization increased. Iranians have actively participated in all spheres of Islamic life and the loyal class, mostly Iranians, has had an enormous influence on the lives of Arab Muslims. From this standpoint, in conjunction with the formation of the Bani Abbas government and the presence of Iranians in the administrative structure of their government, the foundation was laid for a comprehensive cultural and literary movement; Whereas, the literary and social traditions and the works of Iranian thought became at the top of the cultures that influenced the Arabic language and culture. The emergence of Iranian traditions and culture in the poetry of the poets of the Abbasid era brought about a turning point in poetry and was able to influence many literary works in this period. In the same field, Abu al-Ala al-Ma'ari is considered a noble Arab poet whose poetry was cast by aspects of Iranian culture and civilization. This article aims to identify the different aspects of Iranian culture and literature in the poetry of Abi Al-Ala Al-Ma'arri in a descriptive and analytical manner.
