Abstract
The narrative of the play is one of the topics that has entered the subject of narrative in recent years, especially with the efforts of contemporary theorists such as Anner Nuning and Brian Richardson. At the same time, the contemporary German narrator Monica Flodernic started a successful effort to interpret the narrative components in the plays based on concepts related to structuralist narrative that has contributed to the expansion of the playing the play based on contemporary theories. The present study seeks to explore the narrative -analytical -analytical school of American comparative literature and the theory of Floznik on the narrative of the play, examining the narrative components of the play "The Game of Death" by Tawfiq Hakim and "The Voice of Breaking" by Bahman Forsi. In this context, the most important indicators of Fludernik theory, namely the narrator, expressive patterns, how to introduce characters, descriptive adjectives, permissible, dramatic place, space and time, and finally the speech representation methods that Fludernik refer to as narrative indicators. The results show the success of the Flood theory in the structural analysis of the play and the clarification of the aspects that were paid less. Both plays, centered on the search for truth, spiritual transformation, and the critique of social structures, depict the internal and external conflicts of human beings through characters with different perspectives.
