Abstract
Girou's theory of logical semiotics is a part of his semiotics theory, during which he divided ciphers into three logical, aesthetic and social categories. Logical codes are based on the rational-objective experience of humans and deal with the cause and effect relationship of phenomena. Since this theory can also be used in the analysis of poems and literary texts, the current research, which was carried out with the analytical-descriptive method, analyzed the poems of Ezzeddin Mihoubi and Ahmed Shamlou based on Giraud's theory of logical semiotics and based on the American school of comparative literature. The results of the research show that the logical ciphers in the poems of two poets have been manifested in practical, epistemological and paralinguistic ciphers. The use of the archetype of Christ in the form of epistemological symbols that is promising and evokes sadness, embodies the sad state of the homeland of the two poets. Paralinguistic ciphers are also used in the form of collocational ciphers, spaced ciphers, and language substitutes; These cases are some of the similarities in the poems of these two poets, which have been analyzed in the light of logical ciphers, and with the help of each cipher, one can reach the hidden layers of their poetic meanings and concepts.
