Abstract

The heritage of any country shows the history, originality, culture, identity and self-confidence of that country. Many poets have been able to play a valuable role in preserving the heritage of the past. Meanwhile, female poets have paid attention to this. Simin Behbahani and Bashari Bostani, as two intellectual poets, have been able to succeed in using their past heritage due to their great knowledge and mastery in the field of literature, poetry and history. Although these two poets are from two different climates, they have a lot in common in using the national, cultural and religious heritage of their land. This research, with a descriptive-analytical approach and based on the American school, without affecting two texts from each other, while matching the heritage in the poems of two poets, seeks to find the answer to the question of what goals they pursue by using heritage. And what are the religious, historical, mythological allusions in their poems?

The results of the research show that the use of the names of poets and scientists of the past is clearly reflected in their poems; Letters. Since both have experienced common events such as war and occupation, so anti-oppression, struggle against tyranny and criticism of the state of society are prominent manifestations of these two critics. In addition to Arabic myths, Bashari has used the myths of other nations such as Rome and Greece, while Simin looks more at Iranian myths.
