This theory deals with the conflict between Eastern inferior and Western superior thought foundations and tries to show the results between colonialism and the colony. Ahmad Saadawi, the writer of “Frankenstein in Baghdad” novel, is among those authors who has put a high priority on struggling against colonialism. He depicts the consequences of the occupation of Iraq by the U.S. Army and his writing is considered as a complex allegory of tribal violence in Iraq following the U.S. invasion. Therefore, the analysis of this author’s thoughts is significant in postcolonial literature. The present result reveals that how the author could present the political, social, and economic effects in Iraq in a fictional novel by turning into the anti-colonial perspective. The author illustrates the feeling of chaos in his land and creates an imaginary character that has a fragmented identity. Saadawi endeavors to presents the effects of colonialism in its modern form by making this imaginary creature that aims towards the establishment of justice. This study written as the perspective of post-colonial criticism using the descriptive-analytical approach investigates the components of post-colonialism, such as Western centralization, moral issues, and identity fragmentation. Besides, this study highlights the reliance on beliefs and religion to achieve a former identity to oppose the belief in the superiority of the Western race and anti-colonialism.}, keywords = {Literary criticism,Post-colonial Literature,“Me” and “The Other”,Ahmad Saadawi,Frankenstein in Baghdad}, title_fa = {نقد پسا استعماری رمان«فرانکشتاین فی بغداد» اثر احمد سعداوی}, abstract_fa = {نقد پسااستعماری، به‌عنوان یکی از رویکردهای ادبیات تطبیقی و مطالعات فرهنگی، بازخوردهای استعمار را در متون ادبی تحلیل و به کشف مؤلّفه‌های پسااستعماری در ادبیات می‌پردازد. این نظریه به تقابل بنیان‌های فکریِ شرق فرودست و تفکّر فرادستی غرب می‌پردازد و می‌کوشد گفتمان حاصل از این تقابل را میان استعمار و مستعمره نشان دهد. احمد سعداوی نویسندة رمان فرانکشتاین فی بغداد از زمرة نویسندگانی است که مبارزه با استعمار را سرلوحة کار خویش قرار داده‌اند. وی پیامدهای استعمار عراق توسّط آمریکایی‌ها را در این رمان به‌تصویر می‌کشد و نوشتة او تمثیلی پیچیده در مورد خشونت‌های قبیله‌ای در عراق، در پی حملة آمریکاست؛ از این رو، تحلیل اندیشه‌های این نویسندة عراقی از دیدگاه ادبیات پسااستعماری حائز اهمیت است. نتیجة پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که چگونه نویسنده با روی‌آوردن به دیدگاه ضدّ استعماری توانسته تأثیرات و پیامدهای سیاسی، اجتماعی و اقتصادی استعمار در کشور عراق را در قالب رمانی تخیّلی مطرح کند. وی در این رمان، تجربة آشفتگی حاکم بر سرزمین خود را به‌تصویر می‌کشد و دست به خلق شخصیّتی می‌زند که هویتی تکه‌پاره دارد. سعداوی با خلق این موجود تخیّلی که سعی در اجرای عدالت دارد، به بررسی جلوه‌های استعمار در شکل نوین آن پرداخته است. پژوهش حاضر که از منظر نقد پسااستعماری و با روش تحلیلی - توصیفی نگاشته شده، به واکاوی مؤلّفه‌های پسااستعماری، از قبیل مرکزیت‌یافتگی غرب، مشکلات اخلاقی و چندپارگی هویت می‌پردازد. درمقابل، تکیه بر اعتقادات و دین برای رسیدن به هویت پیشین و مبارزه علیه اعتقاد به برتری نژادِ غربی و استعمارستیزی را نیز تبلیغ می‌کند.}, keywords_fa = {نقد ادبی,ادبیات پسااستعماری,«من» و «دیگری»,احمد سعداوی,فرانکشتاین فی بغداد}, url = {https://jccl.razi.ac.ir/article_1987.html}, eprint = {https://jccl.razi.ac.ir/article_1987_0aad942997edfae58756ef6c1160f2f3.pdf} }
